My dad was very excited when he thought of that title for one of my blog posts, so I had to use it, and as of Tuesday, there really will be only 10 months exactly until the big day! Fun!
I don't have much to update on, just cleaning, packing and party planning for the event this Thursday (also my Mom's birthday!!!). The party is going to be pretty fun, I even got the local movie theater to donate some popcorn bags that will be filled up and on the buffet table. I'm also going to print out poster quality posters of the drawings the kids have done to decorate with, it should look pretty good.
This week is going to take forever to get through since I have so much to do and since I have a way fun vacation waiting at the end of it! But that is just even more incentive to get through this busy week. In less than 6 days I'll be in Alabama! I'm going to make sure I save up points for a shrimp po' boy. Mmmm fried shrimp!

What you really need to try down there is the oysters - except it's August and there's no r in the month. OK, so next trip, be sure to eat oysters. They are fresh. Really fresh.
Disregard your father's inherited aversion to seafood. It's another one of those silly aversions passed down from your grandfather. Kind of embarrassing, actually.
