I did way good on the secretary test this morning: 64 words per minute, and a 99% on the written test (although I took it twice because I only got an 85% the first time around.) The 1% I missed the second time around was because I could not convince the grading ladies that Hamiltion came before Hamilton, because it was marked that it should be the other way around on the grading sheet. Oh well, they said the would look into it. So now that I'm home I've been calling the schools I've applied to and telling them I'm very interested in the positions.
I have to thank Uncle Albert for the oyster suggestion, I don't think I've ever had super fresh oysters, especially not from somewhere so close to the water they come out of. Tebben really loves oysters, so we will definitely have some, and make sure my dad has plenty of land animals to eat while we do.
It's a heat index of 101 degrees outside here in Urbana, which does not bode well for the trip to Alabama, luckily our car has AC, and Daphne has lots of shade and plenty of breezes. I think I might have to get myself a fan and be Scarlet O'hara for the whole trip.

are you guys bringing the van?
And we have frosty central air. In fact I have to go turn in up because I'm cold. 78deg is chilly.
The great thing about Alabama is there is SHADE galore from huge old trees. Makes the heat tolerable.
Can we have mint juleps for breakfast?
Mmmm...mint juleps for breakfast. I'm having one right now.
I wish. White Castle coffee.
