Tebben and I have been moving out machines the past two days, and are successfully moved out! Unfortunately, we didn't get to move out and straight into the new place, we got to move out into a storage unit and our trunks, so we still have a lot of work ahead until we are all settled into our new place. We cleaned soooo much in my apartment, and then about half way through found out that my roommate had used my vacuum to clean up baking soda, and it got all up in the motor of my cute green 1 year old vacuum and fried it to death. So I crawled around with the dust buster for a while and eventually gave up. We're not too worried about it, though, because the person moving into my place is Tebben's lousy roommate who didn't clean ANYTHING at their old place, and we figured it wasn't fair that we cleaned the whole old apartment, and cleaned his whole new place he's moving in to.
So the story on the Carmesita blog comment a few days ago is that I used to have our blog comments set to where you don't have to do a word verification, and so I got a spam post. I changed the setting to require word verification now, so hopefully that won't happen again!
Tebben and I have a few more errands to do before we are officially ready to go on our fabulous road trip to Alabama! We'll update with all about the trip, etc, after it happes!

Roomates and baking soda...the stories I could tell. Katie, my love, have you seen the website Tinyliving.com? It was just made for the both of us. Lets get you something from it to make up for the fried vacuum. Have the best time in 'bama!! Auntie
Check out Modern Living, too - they do stuff for cute tiny uber-expensive NY flats that you can utilize.
Such attachment to a vacuum...I wish I felt that way about cleaning. Plus, we just let our cleaning lady go while we're in our apartment. I hope we get her back. (Yes, I am fully aware that you all are laughing that I have a cleaning lady. I am telling you, though...your life would change. Best money spent ever.)
I still expect full reports on wedblog, despite the relocation to Alabama.
