Teaching News

Here are some pictures of Hank the cat with his new best friend the Yellow Dog from Auntie Bets. They're lying in the same position! The second picture is of our table all set up for the fancy brunch party we had. We made strata and it turned out very well.

So the Wedding playlist orders are Evie, Nate, and Aunt Deborah so far and my goal is to get those out by next week. They take only a few minutes to burn, so I should be able to do it, I promise I'll try!

I subbed 4 days last week, once for third grade and three days of high school! I really enjoyed all of it and got to learn all about the following things: what the Waco Texas standoff was, the proper use of colons, how to write detention slips, and what most third graders' favorite part of swimming lessons is (using the water slide). I hope I will get to sub tomorrow, because it's my only available day this week.

On Friday Tebben and I are going to Indiana to get a military ID for me so we can get health insurance. I'm looking forward to it because its such a fun town, even if it is supposed to rain all weekend!

Your table looks retro-fabulous!

Is it too late to request a CD?

You are going to be Hoosiers! I can't wait to hear about all of the places you look at. I really wish I were there too!

Hey where did my first message go? I commented last night that I just got back from a conference in Indianapolis, and it's a great city. I ran into Didi at the Children's Museum. It's a big place (with an excellent dinosaur exhibit), but she saw me, and she got me and my friend Kay in for free so that was great. It saved us $13.50 each. The Indianapolis zoo was great, too. I got to pet a dog shark and a Highland cow. So I say "Go Indiana!"

I would like a CD, too, K.T. I thought that went without saying!
