We've been married 11 days, and I'm only just posting! Sorry everyone!
The wedding was so fantastic and fun! Almost everything went perfectly, and the things that didn't go perfectly we're still great! Like Ella's favorite part of the wedding video, when the Bridal March starts and "Cousin Eva goes No No No!" Hee hee. And of course, some extra interesting outfits, at the time I was mortified, but now its just great to remember. It was so fun to visit with so many family members and friends, and now I'm sad that we don't get to do it every year! I don't think I could do a whole wedding again, but I want to have big parties like that every year. When I'm a millionaire I'll set up a yearly party fund.
After the wedding festivities, Tebben and I drove up to Starved Rock State Park in northern Illinois. We stayed in the old part of the lodge that was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. It was very pretty, and the lodge was really empty because we were there on Easter and the days after. We got to the lodge about dinner time, and they had closed the restaurant at 3pm! We went into Utica for dinner that night, and found out that that part of Illinois' culinary specialty is fried everything. All vegetables on the menu were fried, and even the french fries were battered! We went on a couple of hikes while were there, and went swimming and hot tubbing a ton. It was so relaxing and way fun!
After we got back, poor Tebben had two days to finish a rough draft on one of his papers, finish organizing a Pershing Rifles drill meet, go to all his classes, and work a bunch before he left for White Sands Missile Base in New Mexico for the Bataan Memorial March, 26.2 miles with 47lbs on his back! He loved every second of it, so I'm going to let him write the entry about it. He got home Tuesday at 1:30 in the morning, and was so sore the next day he took about 5 minutes to go down the stairs! I'm way proud of him, I don't think I could walk a marathon with nothing on my back, let alone almost 50 pounds.
Next up we are going to Columbus this weekend because Tebben has been asked by their police department to take their written and physical tests. We're staying in a real Holiday Inn with a real Holidome! That's the part I'm most excited for. All the $25 cabins at Camp Atterbury were full, and I'm secretly happy about it. I know its good to save money but it's better to have a holidome!

Depending on your income, you could probably deduct the hotel expense as a business deduction.
There were many best moments in your wedding. It was altogether a best day.
ooooo- what's a holidome?
Your wedding was perfect. The outfits helped make it so.
Don't forget to post or send out a copy of your wedding playlist!!
