This is Tebben and I exactly one year ago on our Spring Break 2007 vacation. We went to Metropolis to the Superman museum, and then to Loretta Lynn's house, where we took this picture, and then to Nashville. We had so much fun, and I definitely knew then that Tebben was the boy I was going to marry, and now a year later we're getting married over Spring Break!!
It's worked out so perfectly that Tebben's spring break is the same week as mine at the school where I work. We're going to have the whole week to not worry about work or school, and just get everything done that needs to be done for the wedding. That means that we get to visit all of our great Cincinnati/Kentucky/Alabama family for a night to get the ceremony figured out. It'll be nice to get away from Urbana for a bit, too. We're very excited! We'll also be stopping in Columbus, IN for a bit and stopping at the training center where Tebben's new guard unit is.
We both got permission from work/school to miss the Monday and Tuesday after spring break to take our Honeymoon, which I just booked, at Starved Rock Lodge in Starved Rock State Park!
It's really pretty there, and the lodge has a restaurant and bar, and there are million places to hike, which is good because Tebben is still in training for his Bataan Memorial Death March that is the weekend after the wedding in New Mexico. They'll be marching 26 miles in full gear with 35lbs in their ruck sacks. Not my idea of fun, but Tebben is really looking forward to it!

I was going to make a crack about training and hiking on your honeymoon, but since I went to California with my parents a few days after I was married without Paul, I don't really have a leg to stand on :)
Enjoying marital bliss so much that you can't take the time to update us...I am getting a little bored reading about spring break, how was the bataan memorial death march, that will give you something to write about. We're waiting!!
