We had such a fun Shower!

My Aunt Kathy and Cousins Jenni and Karin threw me such a way fun and pretty shower. The only downside was the weather that weekend was some of the worst we've had all year! Tebben and I ended up staying an extra night because the driving conditions were so bad! But it was all eclipsed by the greatness of the shower. There were little cherry tomatoes filled up with garlic cream cheese! It was fun to see so much of my family, and Tebben's mom and sister came, too! We didn't know the rule that we can't use any of our presents until we're married, so now we just have boxes stacked up all over, but they're making great coffee tables until we can use them, and then when we're married and can use them, it will be like getting presents all over again!

Also that weekend Tebben had oodles of police testing, his test on Monday took five hours!!! He's been doing really well, though, and he has some more testing in Rockford this weekend, so we're going to go together and visit our friend who goes to Med school there. I've never been to Rockford, but we've been looking at the city's webpage and we both really liked it. Unfortunately, people who have been there informed us it's actually the "armpit of Illinois". Oh well, maybe we'll both end up liking state armpits!

In wedding news, we've gotten all the flowers for the reception set, including ficas trees! I don't know if that's how ficas is spelled, but you get the idea. Now we've just got a few more meetings with the caterer and rental lady and then everything should be set!
