Tebben's mom, sister, and grandmother threw us a very nice shower in Hanna City. Lots of Tebben's female relatives were there who I hadn't met yet, so it was nice to get to meet them. The food was super delicious, and included a chocolate fountain! My dad drove down to Peoria with my mom and both he and Tebben stayed for the shower and had a great time. They even played some of the shower games, they're such good sports. Tebben's dad came after the games, but in time to be in some pictures.
I'm so excited the wedding is in only 25 days, and I'm very impressed with us at how well we're getting things done. I got my engagement ring resized and thickened a little, because it's so old it was almost worn down to nothing. I'm still amazed that my finger is so much smaller than both my Great-Grandmother's and my Grandmothers fingers, because I think I'm about 1.5 feet taller than either of them! All the jewelers we took my ring to to get sizing estimates all agreed it's a beautiful ring, and it's so old that this cut of diamond isn't even made anymore!
We both have our wedding bands, too, right size and everything. Our outfits are complete, the food ordered, the sword arch confirmed, and the musicians found. We still need to write the ceremony and a few other key things, but for the most part we're doing pretty good!

I agree with cousin evie. Even if it isn't perfect, no one will know. In the end, you'll be married, and that is the coolest part. :)
