So we got approved for a great car loan from USAA, and we can totally afford it and put money down! It's looking like no one is even going to want my volvo for scraps, and Volvo Ken wouldn't even talk to me on the phone about it, so I'm looking into donating it, because the tow it away for free, and that's about the best we're going to get for it, sadly. We're looking at Pontiac Vibes and Ford Focuses right now, and we're going to do some test driving this weekend.
Also good news, I got a promotion! I'll be the Site director at a new school! Which means leaving the one I'm at, super sad, but also more hours, I'll be in charge, and higher pay! Still no health insurance, though, I guess this school district is way stingy with insurance, but I know for a fact all the secretaries, including part time, get benefits, which is just another example of the afterschool program not being given the funding and everything it needs. No wonder the staff rotates through so much, no one in the school district makes it worth our while to stay. Except for me, I got a raise! I'm way sad to be leaving my school though! The picture is all of us at the orchard, we got pumpkins, donuts and cider!

I'm so proud of you! You forgot to mention, though, how the head honcho totally sought you out for this job because you are the best and he knows it! Don't be modest! Everyone should hear about how much you rock!
Maybe you could sell your car to someone who could use the tax write off, since it won't make a lick of good for you. Even if you don't though, it will feel good to donate it. I gave my first car to the National Kidney Foundation and never felt an ounce of regret!
what ever you do though, never buy a volvo again! way to be on the jobski too yo.
Nice work on the Job, Katie. Get a hybrid, they're great! Or get what you can afford, cause that'd be great too. Fresh donuts at pumpkin patches are the best, we had great ones at the place we went too, delicious.
